"I was the kind of child who was always crafting! Whether it be with a hammer and nails and a pile of wood from the yard or a set of sharpies and the new shoes my mother bought me for school :) or saving all the paper towel tubes to make a slide 5 foot slide for our gerbals! About 3 years ago, my husband decided to go back to school and it seemed like all our friends started to have babies. Strapped for money, I started crocheting and sewing our friends gifts. Our family motto has always been a quote by Abraham Lincoln I was taught at a young age, "Most people are about as happy as they make up their minds to be," and it always stuck with me. As my hobby grew, We Choose Joy was born! I combine many of my crafting joys: color, sewing, crochet, drawing and my love for everything recycled to make our So Handsome Tie shirts, Hats, Booties and LMNOP Tees!"
